Fibre Technician – Skellefteå/Piteå
We are now looking for a fibre technician to join our team, based in Skellefteå or Piteå. The work is primarily carried out in the field in parts of Norrbotten and Västerbotten, and travel is a natural part of the role.
Do you have experience as a fibre optic technician and want to continue developing in a role focused on practical work? Then this could be the job for you. Here, you'll get to work hands-on with the installation, splicing, and commissioning of fibre optics – together with a dedicated team where quality and collaboration are paramount.
About the roles
As a fibre technician with us, you will work closely with projects – from planning to execution and follow-up. You are an important part in ensuring that the work is carried out efficiently, with high quality, and according to set requirements and schedules.
Your tasks will include, among others:
- Participate in the planning of technical solutions and work arrangements
- Perform splicing, measuring and documentation
- Ensure the work maintains the correct quality in both execution and outcome
You will have a varied role where your technical expertise and accuracy are crucial for the success of projects.
Who are you?
We are looking for people who have:
- Experience of working as a fibre optic technician
- Enjoying working with the entire process – from execution to documentation
- Ability to work independently, structured and solution-oriented
It is advantageous if you are a certified fiber technician and/or have a BE driver's licence.
