Environmentally friendly and flexible cable and pipe laying
In this project, we have used horizontal directional drilling (HDD) as an innovative and sustainable method for cable and pipe laying. This technique has become a first choice in situations where traditional excavation would be both costly and environmentally stressful. Guided drilling offers a solution that minimises the impact on the surrounding environment while providing flexibility in the installation process.
By using horizontal guided drilling, we were able to successfully overcome these challenges. The technology allows for precision-guided drilling that can be adjusted to avoid obstacles, making it ideal for complex installation environments. The installation was carried out without the need for extensive excavation work, which not only reduced costs but also significantly reduced the environmental impact. An additional advantage of this method is its independence from groundwater levels. This allows drilling to be carried out under varying ground conditions without risking impact on water resources or stability.
The project resulted in the successful installation of cables and pipes through the challenging areas, with minimal impact on both terrain and infrastructure. This solution proved to be significantly faster and more cost-effective than traditional methods, and the environmentally friendly aspect contributed to a sustainable end result. By using horizontal directional drilling, we not only achieved the technical and economic objectives, but also ensured that the project was carried out in a way that preserved and protected the natural environment. This reference project emphasises the importance of choosing the right technology to meet modern demands for sustainability and efficiency in cable and pipe laying.
