Electrical contract for preschool project in Ånäset
Responsible for the electrical work at the preschool in Ånäset, where an older building is being renovated and converted into a new preschool.
In this project, Install was responsible for the electrical contract, which included both planning and implementation of electrical installations in co-operation with Skelleftebygg and Robertsfors Municipality.
In this project, we worked closely within the project organisation to design a lighting solution that would suit both the interior and exterior of the new pre-school. This included the installation of new external lighting designed to safely and effectively illuminate the new playground, improving safety and enabling outdoor play even during darker hours. Within the building, Install was responsible for the installation of lighting that would be adapted to different activities, including a stage built to be used by the children for different performances and activities. The lighting was designed to create a safe and inspiring environment, adapted to the needs of the preschool.
We were actively involved in the project decision-making process from the outset, enabling a smooth and efficient implementation process where all aspects of the electrical works could be planned and executed according to the specific requirements and timeframes of the project.
Jula and Willys at Anderstorp in Skellefteå
The electrical contract for the construction of Jula and Willys in the Anderstorp shopping centre in Skellefteå.
The construction of Jula & Willys started in 2020 where the start-up of the new commercial area at Anderstorp began. Jula's new store located at approx: 3000sqm was a much needed upgrade from the previous store located at Solbacken trading area. Willys grocery store located at approx: 3200sqm was their second store in Skellefteå and saw the need for a new store on the south side of Skellefteå. This construction was the start of Anderstorp's new commercial area.
Housing project Kv Jullen Skelleftehamn
Construction of 180 new apartments in Kv Jullen, Skelleftehamn, started - to be completed in 2025 to meet housing needs after Northvolt establishment.
In February 2022, construction began on the Kv Jullen housing project in Skelleftehamn, with the aim of having 180 new apartments ready for occupation in early 2025. Kv Jullen is one of the major investments made in Skellefteå municipality to keep up with the demand for housing after the establishment of Northvolt and nearby industries. The new residential area consists of 180 apartments ranging from 1 to 3 rooms with associated technical rooms & storage rooms.
Husum RM10, BM1
Together with Siemens Energy, our staff participated in Metsä Board Husum's major capacity expansion in 2023.
Install has extensive experience of working in the paper industry, so it was a natural choice to work with Siemens on this complex and successful project.
- Erection and installation of new 690V switchgear.
- All installations for controlling and monitoring the plant.
- Installation of new transformers
- Assembly and installation of arc detectors.
- Installation and connection of encoders and encoder boxes on new motors.
- Connection of all new motorised drives.
170kV Djupdal and Kallamossen
All electrical and steel installations for the construction of the new 170/36kV stations Djupdal and Kallamossen.
The stations were established in Europe's largest onshore wind farm Markbygden 1101 and served as connection points for the new areas in Markbygden with the same name as the stations. Install has participated in several major phases of this park and has extensive experience of installations in several wind farms in northern Sweden.
- Installation of all power and lighting.
- All high and medium voltage installations.
- Installation of all 170kV outdoor switchgear and connection to the new network.
- Assembly and installation of 36kV circuit breakers including control cabling.
Construction of Hybrit Pilot Plant P1, P3, H2
All electrical and fibre installations for the establishment of Hybrit Development's new research facility on the SSAB site in Luleå.
The background to the project was that in 2016 SSAB (the Nordic region's largest steel producer), LKAB (Europe's largest producer of iron ore) and Vattenfall (one of Europe's largest producers of electric power) formed HYBRIT - a joint-venture project that aims to revolutionise steel production. HYBRIT intends to replace coke, traditionally used in the production of steel from iron ore, with hydrogen. The result would be unique. The world's first fossil-free steelmaking process with virtually no CO2 emissions. Work on the construction of the project started in 2019 and the test phase is planned to last until 2024.

The commitment has resulted in an ongoing framework agreement where Install El continues its co-operation with Hybrite staff during the research phase
