Large-scale industrial project for future-proof communications
This industrial project involves the installation, termination and cross-connection of approximately 42,000 fibre connections, distributed across all buildings within the first phase of the project.
We are currently working to ensure that all fibre connections are terminated and tested to the highest industry standards to achieve a robust and future-proof network infrastructure. The project proceeded and included:
- Project management where we lead and coordinate all aspects of the project, including planning, resource allocation and ongoing monitoring to ensure we meet deadlines and quality requirements.
- Our team performs precision fibre splicing to minimise signal loss and ensure optimal network performance.
- We install fibre cables using cable blowing technology for efficient and gentle placement of fibre in prepared ducting systems.
- We implement cross-connections to ensure stable and reliable connections between different buildings and network elements.
- We will carry out final measurements to verify that all fibre connections meet the specified requirements and ensure that the network works as intended.
PTS Splicing and termination
This project, carried out on behalf of Skellefteå Kraft, includes extensive works in fibre installation and connection of approximately 500 villas in the area. The project started in 2022 and is still ongoing, reflecting the scope and importance of the project for the local community and includes the following main elements:
- Project management with overall control and co-ordination of the different parts of the project to ensure schedule and quality.
- Fibre splicing in the form of high-precision splicing to ensure optimal fibre quality and minimal signal loss.
- Installation of fibre connections in individual houses, including the necessary equipment and customer training.
- Measurement and quality assurance of fibre connections to meet technical specifications and customer requirements.
Feedback from homeowners and Skellefteå Kraft has been very positive so far, with appreciation for both the quality of work and the smooth process. The good co-operation between all parties involved has been a key to the success of this project. By combining technical expertise, careful project management and strong customer focus, this project has demonstrated our ability to deliver high quality solutions in fibre installation and connectivity on a larger scale.
