Install supports Ukraine through refurbishment of backup power plants
Install has been honourably commissioned by Svenska kraftnät to participate in the support to Ukraine by refurbishing diesel backup power plants. As part of Sweden's aid efforts, 13 backup power plants will be sent to Ukraine to strengthen the country's energy supply.
This decision is a direct action and not part of a larger package, according to Sweden's Energy Minister Ebba Busch (KD). The decision was taken after Svenska kraftnät contacted the government, resulting in the third shipment of backup power plants now being prepared for delivery to Ukraine.
The back-up power plants supplied to Ukraine are particularly important for maintaining critical societal functions such as hospitals, water treatment plants, and communication systems. By providing a reliable source of energy, these facilities can continue to operate even during times when the regular electricity grid is unavailable. This is crucial to reduce humanitarian distress and to maintain social order in vulnerable areas.
"It is a great honour that we, with our experience and expertise in the energy and power sector, have the opportunity to contribute to Ukraine's struggle to maintain critical societal functions by delivering and refurbishing backup power plants. It feels incredibly meaningful to know that our work can make such a tangible difference in people's lives, especially in such a difficult and vulnerable situation as Ukraine is in." Says Jan Fransson, CEO Install

Install strengthens the board
Install has had a steep development curve since its inception in 2016 and continues to develop its business in electricity, fibre and infrastructure.
As part of this journey, the company is strengthening its strategic expertise with Robert Falck and Nils Clausén. Both Robert and Nils have a solid background and experience of companies in construction and civil engineering.
Robert Falck currently lives in Sundbyberg, Stockholm. To summarise some of Robert's background, he has been Municipal Director of Sundbyberg Municipality and Secretary General of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. Today, in addition to his role as a member of Install's board, Robert is chairman of AIK football and a member of the Norrenergi CHP company. In his spare time, Robert is interested in football as a dedicated spectator, and in winter he also likes to watch skiing.
Nils Clausén has held leading positions in the building materials and housing industries for the past 30 years. His areas of activity have been ready-mixed concrete, gravel and rock, transport and marsh services, house construction and wood processing. In recent years, Nils' focus has mainly been on board work in the construction and contracting industry. Outside of work, Nils likes to spend time on the lake or carpentry at his holiday home in Varuträsk and of course, as an old Skellefte resident, hockey has a given place among his interests. Nils currently lives in Trosa, south of Stockholm.
