Install acquires fibre installation company
Northern installation company Install is acquiring fibre specialists Opteno in Östersund as part of its plan to offer local fibre and electrical installers across northern Sweden.
- "With the acquisition of Opteno, we can offer local fibre installation services in a geographically larger market. Their team of experienced project managers and fibre installers will be a welcome reinforcement of our joint offering and we will be properly positioned for today's and tomorrow's needs," says Jan Fransson, CEO of Install.
For Opteno, the deal means new opportunities where the company's experience and expertise are utilised through new exciting business opportunities.

The timing of the deal is also particularly appropriate for Install as it recently won the contract to build a local interconnection network in Jämtland for the broadband provider IP-Only. A project that amounts to a value of just over SEK 40 million.
